Our busy oral surgery practice in Rochester is looking for an experienced oral surgery assistant to join our team. Our practice is primarily office based with concentration on dentoalveolar and implant surgery using IV sedation. Must be energetic, willing to learn, and passionate about excellent patient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Providing outstanding direct patient care while adhering to HIPAA

Providing support for the oral surgeons during procedures, including monitoring vitals

Preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and operatories

Providing pre-op and post-op care to patients in person and over the phone

Documenting procedures, vitals, pre and post-op care in patient charts

Taking dental radiographs

Ordering supplies and answering phones as needed

Work Location: One main location with the exception of occasional travel to assist in other offices as needed. Mileage reimbursement would apply. 

Requirements:

High School or equivalent (required)

Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)

Basic CPR Certification (preferred)

Current Radiology Certification is preferred or required within 6 months of employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
